In my opinion Buddhists are not the same. Their "religion" might be the only one which proofed to be non violent. Correct me if I´m wrong.

I live in a Buddhist country and let me assure you, Buddhists are the same. They are just as violent as any other religion.

Try searching for the term Takbai. Try saying anything against their religion....find yourself jailed. What do you think about children being forced to learn Buddhism just because they choose to attend a public school? Imagine 4000 students wearing boy and girl scout uniforms standing in front of a flag chanting Buddhist prayers. Reminds me of the old Nazi propaganda films of 1930's.

In the amulet craze, people are killing others over amulets blessed at the temples.

Nah, Buddhist are just as extremist as any other religion. Hell, I can't even use Youtube without a proxy server because it's offensive to Buddhism. Prostitution is offensive to Buddhism, but across the street from the school is a brothel. The Buddhism Ministry sends people out to make sure the skirts aren't too short for university students but they look the other way when those same girls are selling their bodies, just as long as they get a cut of the action.

Nah, it's a religion that is just as fucked up as any other religion.
