I'm especially interested in building/improving the SEO on my personal name. Many of us who are in the entrepreneur, indendent business roles don't have some big company name to stand behind, so our name really is our brand. It also seems natural to me that there are many individuals (such as sales people within organizations) that could benefit by getting their name out there (and not just the name of their company, product or service). What are some of the best ways to get your name to climb higher in search engine results? I know that having a blog with wordpress.com/blogger.com or a profile on lyro.com/linkedin.com may be a good start, but what other creative ways are there to build a name brand in cyberspace?
