Buy an original Banksy for $60...

This is so stupid.. obviously there is no reason to believe those pieces are real, and on top it shows the intrinsic value of banksy "art" seems to be equal zero as nobody shows interest int his ugly stuff.

And regarding "art":
Whenever someone spends more time thinking about something than the person who did something did, then you can be sure that something is a little off.
Human have very hard times coping with ambiguities. There is no such ting as art, it's a ridiculous overestimation of human capabilities (which is a very big ambiguity).

Thanks for wasting 5 minutes of my life OP

jesus christ, I'm really a genius!
I love how you guys cannot cope with my ambiguity (few posts, am I trolling?), so this is why you are full of fear. This is exactly predictable human behavior. I should watch more VSauce (this is where I learned all this)

Don't be afraid, I'm a nice person

Was in Brooklyn the other day when one of his trucks drove by, no one knew what it was at the time or that it was his.

Anyway, after looking on his site today I realized it was his and thought how easy it would have been to just toss some GPS tracking shit on it Breaking Bad style and find out where they go, then go find Banksy.

Awesome. imagine how many people walked by the display that are now kicking themselves in a fit of jealousy and self loathing.

I think this captures the spirit of his work perfectly.

from his blog: "*Please note: If you're the person who stuck a tracking device on the garden truck you're now following a car service in Queens."

Pewep spotted!

I dunno what banksy is, I assume it's high-valued art pieces, but this video certainly shows you something about perceived value based on packaging/presentation.

If the same stuff was in a gallery, whole different ballgame, but because it's on a street corner, nobody gives a shit. Interesting stuff.

He's an anonymous UK street artist that typically uses spray paint stencils to make whimsical and/or politically charged images. Banksy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia He's in NYC for the month of October and producing something each day there.

I wonder if the guy that bought 4 of them will ever see this story or figure out on his own what he purchased... or just never have any idea and throw them out with the trash some day while moving.

Banksy didnt really do good art IMO he became known for the politically charged nature of his art work. a lot of it was rather poor in reality as far as street art goes.

still wouldnt catch me "investing" in his work
