As some of you missed out on the last offer, I've talked to the developer and arranged to get new discount code set up for Caffeinated Content.

Use promo code: WFPROMO, get $27 off (making it $50) Get it Here.

It's valid for for 50 uses or til December 19 at 11:59:59 MST whichever comes first.

I've also set up a site to demonstrate what Caffeinated Content can do: Caffeinated Content for WordPress Caffeinated Content: Demos & Tutorials

I'll be adding more examples over the next few days and I should have a nice little script finished soon for anyone who wants to create CC sites very quickly.

You might've noticed I fuckin' love this plugin. Compared to Aequitas' new video one it's ugly as fuck, only allows you to add one kw at a time and doesn't play nicely with pingcrawl but I'm writing some shit do deal with that (and I don't need it to look pretty)... It's just so fucking flexible, I've been barely scratching the surface of it and keep thinking of new stuff to do with it. (Such as including adsense or ebay ads in posts.)

I'm no expert, but will try and answer any questions or can forward to the developer, if you want and specific examples let me know and I'll put them up.

I checked it out from the last thead. I signed up for the email list, confirmed and didn't get anything...

Also, wouldn't there be a duplicate content penalty for scrapes?

No idea about the mailing list, didn't even know there was one, sorry can't help with that.

Regarding duplicate content, caffeinated content gives you a few ways to rewrite content (using Markov chains or translation) examples will be on the site above soon, but if you want content that's not rewritten then really it's a numbers game.

If you have a site with 10 pages all duplicated then it could be an issue, if you have 10,000 pages don't worry, plenty will stick. I've got RSS-fed sites with thousands of pages still indexed months after the site was taken down and the domain redirected.

Google also seems to love the tag pages and CC creates tags automatically. Using the demo site as an example, after a week it has 69 pages in the SERPS, most of them tag pages.

LazyHippy, grabbed this from your last post. Would you happen to have the link to Aequitas' plugin as I can't seem to find it.

Thanks much.

Do you have a way to completely automate this plugin? I've tried using it for autoblogs but my issue is that you have to manually scrap content everytime you want more. It doesn't have a function where you tell it how many posts/day and set it to work infinitely.

I'm working on something to automate setting it up, but at the moment you can do it using the date ranges:

e.g. run1: 50 posts, 01/01/09 -> 01/31/09
run2: 50 posts, 02/01/09 -> 02/28/09
etc..

It would be nice if it didn't timeout and you could just set xxxxx posts over x years... The script I'm writing will do that by splitting it up into smaller chunks, but would it be more useful for you to have a cron job that you run, say one a month, to schedule posts for the following month indefinitely?

Yea I guess right now the best bet would be setting up a cron-job. Either that or I go with "Autoblogged" plugin, or "wp-o-matic". What is your opinion on using these two (which is better?) with rss feeds in contrast to using something that posts full articles like CC?

The way I understand it is that either way I'm getting content on my autoblogs. AFAIK duplicate content penalty doesn't exist, and google doesn't personally come to my site to see if it's full articles or not (AFAIK?). I don't really care what people think, because I am using very bare adsense themes and only care about them clicking through.

Do you see any problems with what I am currently doing (using Autoblogged + WP-Videotube)? Will I get punished by google? Or banned from adsense (I don't see how?)?

I've had a site that was just Youtube vids banned, but tbh I don't have enough experience to say. I've had cycle sites (massive autoblogs) banned from Adsense but I suspect that is due to people reporting them... I now make them less spammy-looking and get more requests to be included than complaints.

Re: Autoblogging.. not used Autoblogged, tried wp-o-matic ages ago can't remember why I didn't stick with it. I use a modified version of the wp-autoblog plugin.

I wouldn't say that caff content could be compared to RSS autoblog stuff, they are very different and in my view complement each other. For example, you could have a site on a celebrity with videos posted by CC + news posted by an RSS plugin. Or, build cycle sites to gain links then cycle them to your caff content sites.

problem is that as of right now, I'm still on shared hosting with hostgator. I have been seriously considering doing some cycle site runs but I'm not sure if that would fly on the shared server...(would it?:D)

As far as getting your sites banned from adsense, how exactly does that work? Do you just get that one site banned, or your whole account? Is it hard to create another account if it gets banned? And also how hard is it to get an account banned?

Thanks ;)

Oh and you're certainly right about CC + rss scrapers/posters being able to work together, for me it's just a matter of trying to automate everything. I'm looking for a system that I can use to simply launch these things quickly, with minimal work (of course after the design of it) being able to set it and forget it and have them work effectively.

PS. I'm definitely interested in Cycle Sites, whether it be now, or in the future when I get a deddy or vps. As of right now I need some passive dollars to help me stack them chips ;)

I wouldn't recommend running cycle sites on shared hosting, they tend to eat up resources pretty quickly.

I've only had sites banned, not accounts (been lucky/careful i guess), so can't help on that, sorry.

Seems a lot of people are looking for the same thing, but are there enough people, would they pay enough to make it worthwhile spending the time developing it?
