Call Answering Service

Glad to hear about your experience with Answer Connect. I checked out their website and they look good. I'm working on creating an offer for a weight loss product. I'm guessing they should be able to handle calls from customers after they have made an order. Order status, cancelling them from the auto-ship program, etc. Will they be able to log into my CRM and edit customer details?

I suppose it depends on how complex your CRM is, but it sounds like something they can handle. I would go ahead and contact one of their reps to see what they say about that. My registration system is simple and doesn't really require a login (just filling out a form), so it doesn't really compare to a full-fledged CRM. On the other hand, they mention on their website that they field calls for the medical industry, which leads me to believe that they can handle a lot of complexity. I'd say give it a try. They're cheap enough that you won't be out a lot of money if it fails, and you can definitely test them out yourself after they get your account up and running to make sure they're able to do all the tasks you require.

Might look at 123employee also. I'd like to use them someday. Offshore but English speaking. $99/month they are not though.

You fail at building a company.

Sorry, man, but this is shit advice. Do you know an intern who will work for $99/mo? And if I did hire one, where would he/she work? In my house with my wife and kids while I'm out and about doing all the other shit I do?

The whole point is to appear as though I'm a big organization while keeping the risk and overhead low. Hiring an intern adds way too many additional variables (even if some sucker is willing to work for free) to be even worth considering.

The service I've contracted with stakes its reputation on being able to answer for me in a professional manner and will even close deals for me. I'm actually shocked that something like this is available for less than $1/min. A fucking intern? Please.

That is pretty cool to get an outsourced American-based staff that will handle your calls on a one-off basis (meaning, they follow your script and instructions)

I didn't think this was feasible at that price point - could you please update once you get some more hands-on experience?
