Can I re-direct an email field

Say I've got an auto responder and a landing page.

Instead of having a big ass button saying "Click here" or some shit, could I have that button made into an email field? So that when the user puts in their email, they get redirected to the offer, but I also get their email saved in an auto-responder?

Is there a lot of coding that would have to go into something like that?

I feel as if I'm missing out on future monies if I don't start capturing all these leads somehow. If that's a really newbie question, pls dont flame me. I have no html knowledge.

jQuery is your friend brah. you could do it with just javascript alone.

google search "javascript onclick image switch"

With most email marketing services you can just change the "thank you page"(the page where they land after they submit) to a redirect to your offer.
