Guys- any clues or ideas to locate quality web devs? I need an onsite dev/web assistant to help with seo tasks and site improvements/content etc. NOTHING too advanced..been trying CRAIGSLIST, but it's a complete joke..

Any suggestions where to find decent or quality help? Can't outsource or go oversees for these types of projects/work etc.

Aren't you literally located in the biggest tech center in the world?

Try paying what the market is paying for this type of skilled help, and you will have no problem finding people in SOCAL to fill your position.

you won't find a good web developer for less than $35-45 an hour these days. if they charge less than that, beware.

go find some kids at local colleges who need work. they'll work for less, should be somewhat smart (ask for a portfolio of work, resumes are absolute bullshit) and feel them out to see if they have that "I'm going to school because my parents want me to but I really just want to code all day" vibe. If they do, yahtzee

thx. Ya it's been tough. Even people at $35/hr are a joke.
Craigs seems to bring out the moronic cross section of America too...
I think I just need to get a VISA for an indian or a phil and house them here..
They don't mind working and have skillz

who doesn't want to code all day?

You're looking for someone fulltime? part time? or what?

I'm a web developer for Mammoth Mountain (Mammoth Lakes, CA) but I'm dating a girl down south, so I'm always down there.

Shoot me a PM, maybe we could work something out.
