Can't Monetize Playstation 3 Website - HELP!

I am getting some SICK ass traffic for playstation 3. However, Im breaking even or even losing money on the site. WTF! Any suggestions? The ads aren't very targeted, thats probably the biggest problem. CTR on the site is only 3%!
 


Have you tried PS3 email submit offers? They worked well when it came out not sure how its doing now.

you should also try something like gamefly.com and see if it converts for you.
 
Make sure you tell your visitors exactly what they are supposed to do in the ad. You get less CTR but your conversion will go up. Trust me I learned my lesson($$$...) already...

Alot of us are used to arbitrage where we just throw any related traffic we can at the pages. But in affiliate we want only the people who are willing to do what is required.

This is good advice. If they know up front you'll get better conversions.

Try a poker program or porn, most people looking for the PS3 are guys. you never know what will work
 
Yeah, I took adsense off a niche site because I think it was smartpricing my account, I stuck some affiliate products on it just for fun and I have sold 3 sets of ninja climbing boots, 6 stun guns and a bunch of pepper spray.
My niche is barely related to any of that but believe it or not that site is making more on average with Ninja gear than adsense!.
Anyway test different things with the site, it seems like there are some ps3 email submits out there..
 
Where is the traffic coming from? If it is from the search engines I don't see howyou can lose money with Adsense ads.
 
Honestly, with video game sites CPM are usually the only way to make money. Adsense is fuck all PPC, Gamefly is SHIT, Affiliates are meh - CPM or direct deals are the only solid ways.

Edit: If its generic traffic then just park it or redirect to a PS3 email submit.
 
maybe try concentrating on a few of the games or gadgets(like joypads etc), by writing reviews etc.. stick some affil links up for them. My guess is that loads of people have general ps3 sites so to get a decent payout you will have to concentrate specifically on a game or gadget.
 
Use shoemoney's ebay ads and make sure PS3's come up. You'll have an insanely high CTR and decent payout.

On a side note, I have a truck full of PS3's if your intrested in selling them on there pm me.
