I run a community charity website. We are funding a construction project and are in need of money. Is there any way to monetize a community site? I was thinking amazon and ebay affiliates, so members could buy through amazon/ebay and thus earn the organization commission. Are there other options as well? Thank you.

I think the programs you mention are good options but a couple of years ago I suggested the same thing to a church I was doing some programming for and their tax exempt status conflicted with earning income from affiliate-type programs.

I don't remember the exact details, but the tax exempt status of the charity is something you may want to consider as you evaluate for monetization options...
