Cheapest hosting + domain name solution for a wordpress blog ?

I have a reseller account through Godaddy.com I have cheaper pricing AND I do support for ALL Customers! I specialize in WordPress so if you ever get stuck I can help you out via email.

I've never bought a domain through network solutions, but they offer up to 3 domains for $2.95 ea for first time customers. Couple that with one of the $0.01 (for the first month) hosting offers from host gator and you've got 3 websites and hosting for them for $8.86. Plus, HG's standard rates aren't too bad either.
Another perk for HG is the fantastico feature that allows you to install wordpress by filling in a couple simple fields and clicking a button.

Go with namecheap & hostgator bro... I had some issues with godaddy reagarding the index.html file before...
so I use hostgator and namecheap for my hosting.. Yes got 3 hostings 2 for hostgator and 1 for namecheap.. namecheap has a low price hosting but I'm using it just for my spammy shithead sites... 1st hostgaor is a trial and error server of SEnuke and the other one is legit sites white hat mode... Just felt that I need to seperate those sites for no other reasons.. SO with hosting just choose namecheap or hostgator..
Anyways with the Domain Names Strongly GO WITH NAMECHEAP! Fast Reliable and a Free Who Is Guard man... I can use the site now after purchasing and putting in the name servers... easy as that and don't have to wait for the next 24-48 hours...
