Okay, I went to DigitalPoint forum since i heard a lot about it on wicked fire, they have a thread on CJ, one guy is making over $14,000 just using 3 blogs writing a year. there are many other success stories about people earning huge amounts of money in the CJ section.
Well what i want to know is, can we also share our CJ sucess stories in this thread ?
And what kind of programs do you promote, eg..movie industry etc...
I know most Affiliates here are the Super Affiliates....But your inputs are also welcome!.:xomunch:

No CJ stories here.

I would be surprised if more than 10% of this forum used CJ.

14000 a year!! WOW!!! I'm pretty sure there are a few that make that in a day... with 10 minutes of work...

CJ is pretty miserable with any program on converting.

CJ would be good if they had even moderately reliable tracking. But merchants can do whatever the hell they want and are rarely (if ever?) audited. I ran them for a bit, but I got tired of buying shit that I didn't want just to make sure the friggin pixel would work.

I use it but only for web hosting affiliates. The payouts are higher than going direct with the web hosting company. Either way, the hosting company could delete conversions, so I go with CJ.

CJ is a huge part of my portfolio of networks I work with.
I make about $3,700 profit per month with CJ, one site.

You need to be really picky about what offers you run.
Don't be scared to contact the advertisers either.
I have a great relationship with the internet marketing division for the advertiser I run through CJ. Hopefully I'll be able to set something up with them in-house soon.

If I didn't have to check the tracking pixels myself I would run a lot with them. but I'll be honest. WTF am I going to do with 12 months of Zoo Books? (granted, that was the result of a moderately intoxicated niche brainstorm)

LOL $14,000 a MONTH ! :bigear:
There were a number of guys making some impressive numbers with CJ over there.

I use CJ, and am a top publisher in the network. If you make $10k per month for 3 months, you can apply to be a "CJ Performer" which gets you an account rep, offers thrown at you left and right, and increased commission rates. It's a pretty good position to be in. Getting offers for private programs hidden to the public can happen, too. I make more money with CJ than other other network, though Azoogle has been up at that same range in the past with me.

CJ has the large name merchants which can help a ton, and I don't find tracking any more fucked up than any CPA network. I've split offers between CJ and CPA networks in the past, and seen the same conversion rates. Downside of CJ is that they pay on the 20th of the following month, and weekly wires aren't available. I've always had good enough cash flow and high enough credit limits to thankfully never be in a bad position because of that.

On the other hand, I have to question what goes on behind the scenes in CJ when an advertiser pixel goes missing - I saw one program where a pixel went down for about 3 months, and it was only caught when an affiliate posted a complaint at another affiliate forum. Then again, that is on par with when I had an issue with an offer on a CPA network, and was told by my AM "Oh, we've been having a ton of tracking issues with that offer for weeks now", yet still pushed that offer...

Forgot the other main plus about CJ - Even though they can't add Google conversion tracking to a conf page, there's really no risk of the advertiser stealing keywords from a direct offer - CJ strips queries off of referrers that the advertisers see in the CJ interface so that merchants cannot steal keywords. After all, CJ makes about a 30% fee on all commission, so they have a decent incentive to protect the successful search affiliates.

Did about 4k with CJ last month. It all depends on the offer pretty much like anywhere else. Just get to work.

Why can't they add Google conversion tracking? I tried to have my AM add it and they said "they weren't comfortable doing that". Also since they can't add it what do you do to take Google conversion tracking's place? Or do you just go without those stats?

They are a necessary evil for me. Some sites I want to promote only use CJ. I'm not a fan of their tracking and they usually don't match up well on similar offers to other networks. But I've never had a problem with payment and haven't seen any drastic shifts in conversions.
