Looking to find any comments or reviews anyone might have out there for classified software. The problem that I am running into is the "search" feature. I basically just need it to work properly. One software I demo'd - I searched for "flat screens" and the results came back with like cell phones and unrelated results.

Anyone have any experience with classified software that they can recommend?

so you're saying that you have a cellphone without a flat screen? What is it? A braille interface? Cathode ray tube?
 
Instead of being a complete asshat and wasting my time, try coming back with something constructive.

When you search on Craigslist for a Flat Screen - i doubt you are looking for a cell phone. Point being - the results should be relevant to your search - even though a cell phone may have a "flat screen"
 
There are tons of them out there, but none I'd recommend.

Seriously, it's one of the most pathetic niches out there. The packages that are awesome are insane expensive, and the rest are antiquated mountains of garbage.

Sorry not to have the answer, but I've done the online classified game for years and until last year when I said fuck it, always felt behind the curve due to lack of awesome software.
 
Just tried the demo on Classipress. Still my biggest concern/feature I am looking for is the "search" feature. Searching on the Classipress demo for "audi" (for example) the first result that comes back is:

Twilight (Two-Disc Special Edition)

I am really looking for just your basic relevant search results - ala Craigslist. I search for something - either it comes up or it will tell me nothing found for that search. Maybe I am being too picky? Am I? HELP!?!
 
the main problem man, is you don't know how these things work. If you did you would understand the implications of your demand.

If it is a that big a deal, and you have the money to be demanding exactly what you want, hire a fucking programmer and stop bitchin'.
