Click Discrepancy Between FB and Aff Network

I'm having problems figuring out why there is such a discrepancy in clicks between FB and my Aff network.

My clicks on a FB campaign (from FB reports section) are around 1,100 for the usual day and yet my Aff network stats say there's only around 900 clicks/day. This is happening every day.

What is going on here? How can there possibly be this much of a difference in clicks?
 


There have been many noted cases of click fraud with FB. How does your tracking system match up between each?

For one day:

FB - 1130 clicks
P202 - 982 clicks
Aff Network - 917 clicks


What is the acceptable discrepancy in clicks between 202 and Aff network so I know the network isn't trying to screw me?

I get this issue a lot.. with more niches and demos more than others.. its most likely international traffic clicking on your ads.. it's prolly added up to thousands of clicks for me on some of my long running campaigns.. not much you can do about it unfortunately cause we all know how helpful FB is.

I was able to figure out a few targets (keywords) that were getting more than others doesn't totally explain why but my guess is maybe the ads show on a FB fan page that has lots of international views but who knows.

this might sound really silly but how closely are you watching these campaigns? I know i still have my time on FB set different than easy coast so i always get more "clicks per day" on FB's end due to the time difference might be something to double check if your one of those people that checks stats less than every 24 hours

EDIT: i just noticed you were having a discrepancy between P202 and your aff network.. could throw my previous statement out the window possibly if thats the case
 
Timezone discrepancies maybe?

Or, and it's been a while since I've worked with FB, but didn't they used to count up to 5 clicks per IP in 24h? The affiliate network might only show unique clicks.
 
What shows your affiliate network (ok, ok, they don't show it! lot of them!) and P202...about unique clicks ??? not just raw stupid clicks, cause some maybe repeated. Also FB indeed may send some shitty clicks. It happens...
 
memaily, depends on the network....Neverblue it seems do not show unique at least from my observation as well as link trust platforms, they show hits, not hosts, cause some other network + tracking correctly tracked uniques.

5 clicks per ip in a day = pure scam.
