First post, great forum.

I just saw that Clickbooth have launched a CPC network.

This seems to be an ad network like any other, except that remnant inventory is filled automatically with CPA offer creative.

This effectively removes the affiliate/media buyer as the middle man.

Any thoughts on whether this business model will sustain, and how it may affect the affiliate marketing business model in the future?

Again, great forum, really interesting posts here.

mediawhiz and tatto also have ad networks, what changes ?

how it removes you ? advertiser pay for CPA, he is not going to site fine tuning CPC camapaigns, however some may want such option.

it will have no effect, moreover I predict just another low tier full of shit non-working cpc network out there, tons of them present already.

they replaced adtoll with it, crap source of arcade traffic.

but those are first thoughts....time will tell of course.

Don't join them , I don't trust any cpa networks ppc network , chances are they will steal your campaign . It's like your telling them here is my campaign . Your giving them real stats they'll know how much are making from the campaign what roi what keywords what lp and what offer.

Wouldn't surprise me if they ended up with your campaigns as the defaults eventually, seems to be a trend with ad networks I guess.

Interesting points.

My feeling was that once they know your campaigns, then they have the possibility to cut you out of the equation.

I still wonder how far this will go in the industry?

Uh, fellas, most of the time they are the ones who are buying all the traffic anyway. All the stuff you are talking about is already happening on a level that you probably weren't aware of.

Well, pretty sure this is AdToll - I went to my bookmark for AdToll's site directory which used to be a self serve place similar to AdBrite and it redirects to this. Interesting.

dubbyah - I see what you mean.

I think like the general consensus here, I would be very wary about buying traffic from this network now as an affiliate.

But, as a merchant, it could be feasible though. :-)

Clickbooth steals!

Most networks know your traffic, but clickbooth is one of the only networks were your AM has access to your traffic as well. Me no like.

lol

Stop worrying about the guy in the front knowing your sources at networks. They usually have no clue what to do with it.

Worry more about the dozens of guys in the back that do.

No I actually agree, just makes me feel "more" uncomfortable when my AMs are talking about sources.
