Clicks cloak and counter

Hi everyone,
I'm relooking my website and I'm looking for a script by wich I can cloak the affiliate links and track / count clicks. I saw some site using the linkindex attributes in there <a> tag, but this methode is not XHTML compliant.
can you please give me some ideas / help please.

Sorry for my english. Ok here is a quick and clear question: how do you track the clicks on your LP. ie how many times each anchor / link is being clicked on.
