cloud hosting--- what would you pay?

I have been looking at going to cloud hosting for my stuff. what do you think would be reasonable in terms of pricing and companies?

if you have aff links send them as well... I will happily use them and ensure the right person gets rewarded financially (through the aff link of course) for helping me out... do not suggest site5 as I have had stuff with them and am certainly not going back.

Hi Mike,
thanks for your response. I have already checked out your cloud services from another thread you have. It appeared as though you do not offered shared cloud hosting accounts and just as a trial I wanted to just put 1 site on to a shared cloud environment with a company and see how it runs before committing myself to a dedicated cloud service

I used CloudSites a while back (Rackspace) to manage some Joomla installs - worked fairly well, although the control panel had you doing stupid stuff like running Perl scripts through cron jobs to extract a file. Seriously, give me a simple file manager like cPanel.

If you're looking for root, the other option I've considered is Amazon. Very easy to shut a server down from what I've heard (when not in use)

MediaTemple is shit. I'm never going back there - maybe it was a fluke but I saw a lot of downtime, slow loads and mediocre customer support.
