I set up an account with Amazon yesterday, hosted like 4 of the images of an LP with their Cloudfront service just to see if the faster speed would help at all.
After a little while the conversion rate and CTR of the Cloudfront page was lower. Weird.
Figured that couldn't be right, so I made another copy of the non-Cloudfront LP to normalize the stats and also rule out time-of-day. The test involved these 3 LPs:
-Non-cloudfront LP
-Non-cloudfront LP
-Cloudfront LP
After a few hours, both non-cloudfront LPs had virtually the exact same CTR and CVR. The Cloudfront LP was lower in both.
Any ideas? I feel like I must have just set something up wrongly, but all looks normal.
Gonna try using the S3 with Cloudfront this time and see what happens.
