Cloudfront Hurting Conversion Rate...?

I set up an account with Amazon yesterday, hosted like 4 of the images of an LP with their Cloudfront service just to see if the faster speed would help at all.

After a little while the conversion rate and CTR of the Cloudfront page was lower. Weird.

Figured that couldn't be right, so I made another copy of the non-Cloudfront LP to normalize the stats and also rule out time-of-day. The test involved these 3 LPs:

-Non-cloudfront LP
-Non-cloudfront LP
-Cloudfront LP

After a few hours, both non-cloudfront LPs had virtually the exact same CTR and CVR. The Cloudfront LP was lower in both.

Any ideas? I feel like I must have just set something up wrongly, but all looks normal.

Gonna try using the S3 with Cloudfront this time and see what happens.

How many conversions did you base your conclusions on? Use Split Test (A/B Test) Calculator to see if your findings are statistically significant. If they are: maybe the cloudfront images don't load properly for certain people? Also test your site in different browsers...
