Anyone at, been or planning to go to college/uni? What are you doing? I graduated 2 years ago with a "multimedia design" degree. I have mixed feelings about it's worth. Even though i didn't really learn a hell of a alot, had i not done the course i might not have been introduced to Photoshop and the like (i nearly changed to psychology  ). On the other hand the course content taught me extremely little and that somewhat disgusts me :D

Attending OU (Oklahoma University) for MIS.

Started at a community college and got a degree in Technology.

Im way to old for either of those :(
I did go to college years ago - ended up messing around

Yea I've been in college for one year. I have jumped around in majors (CS, English) before finally settling on a dual major in Finance and Economics.

I'm in my first year of Economics in uni, right now studying for the up to 14 exams that are going to determine whether I get the minimum number of study points to stay in for the next year. I'm going to need a lot of luck lol

I went to Columbia University here in NYC, but dropped out in my 2nd year because I didn't like school (ever) and I figured, I was doing so well as a part timer, imagine what I could accomplish as a full timer. Folks weren't so happy, but I haven't looked back since.

I did uni a while ago. It was fun )not tech related at all). Make the most of the oportunites, its not just about what you learn from the tutors/lecturers

how are the folks now? Are they supportive and all?

I have a CIS degree from OSU (Ohio State). I never really liked school but suffered through it.

Not really.. they still think I'll be quitting all of this, going back to school and becomming a lawyer or a doctor. I guess it's okay for everyone to dream.

Dropped out half way through my third year. Was going for a business management; when I started I was also going for an art degree, dropped that halfway through my second semester.

The last year of school I was basically on autopilot. Writing comes naturally to me and I was throwing together projects and still getting A's.

The story gets better, my tuition was free.

Between business demands and what other entrepreneurs have said the choice to leave was very clear.

CS degree from UMBC, graduated last year. No regrets, I actually enjoyed school (sometimes) and enjoy what I do.

I did my first year certificate for CIS as I finished highschool.
Got so fucked around by both schools, it was incredible. Even to the point that they decided that while we offered to pay the teacher's wages thereby allowing us to have the full amount of time for our Math 12 course, they cut our course time in half, AND went on strike. So we ended up with way too little time and only a scant few passed.

So I'm redoing that crap in summer, so I can even meet my CIS Certificate requirements.

I'm a management major with a concentration in technological entrepreneurship at RPI (Rensselaer Polytech) which is just outside of Albany, NY

I'm an Aerospace Engineering Student. going into the third year. Have thought about switching to something more tech related (been taking an IT minor as well) but we'll see.
Aerospace Engineering not technical enough? What's next then
