I want to get into the shareshare affiliation programs (e.g. registery cleaners etc...) - my only concern is this:

Usually these programs offer a free trail- the user download their software and later (hopefuly) buys the full product, so how do they connect the affiliate to the user? The user can buy 1 mounth after he downloaded the trial - he can do it from a different computer,

What am i missing?

A similar question is regerading certain programs who offers a minor free version usually in return to the user's email - again - how do i collect my commision? :zzwhip:

Thx

It depends on the network...there are two ways:

1) You link to their site, surfer clicks link and gets cookied for x days, and if the surfer then buys the product within that x days, you get credit for the sale. This is how many of the clickbank software offers work.

Just make sure that software doesn't overwrite or delete the cookie itself.

2) Your affiliate ID is inserted into the app itself and then you host this download for surfers to grab or you link to an offer which inserts it dynamically. This is how many regnow offers work.

Not sure I understand the last question...it depends on that particular offer. The email may not contain your affiliate link or it may contain a link that overwrites it. You need to check it individually.
