Contextual ads on landing pages?

My landing page is there primarily to sell a product, but if the visitor doesnt want my product the ads are there to help them navigate their way out.. Is it a bad idea?

I'm running 2 landing pages with ads at the bottom, so far I havent noticed much of a difference.

that's not really what I meant, that example feels a lot like an arbitrage page with a product somewhere in the middle

I'm trying to shift 90% focus on the product and 10% on the ads by positioning the ads all the way on the bottom of the page

Its a good last ditch option to make money from people before they close the window

I have just recently started promoting specific products and did the same stan, I figure If I dont get a sale from a visitor I mide as well try to get a click.

I like a full or half banner at the bottom of the page just below my offer button, or if I have several pages below the navigation
