I have great CTR on a fanpage I started that is getting .3+ ctr I started the ad yesterday afternoon and have 1200 fans but only 95 clicks and 22 leads for the offer.

I have spent 46 bucks on the campaign so far and have only recouped 26 bucks so far.

Any advice on how I can get more clicks for my offer the copy has a call to action to like the page to get xxxx for free but I can't get them to follow through.

how did you manage to get 1200 fans for $46?
you created a facebook ad and promoted the page?
not bad, you must have had a incredible low eCPC right?

by the way you can reach out to those users over and over again and eventually generate more clicks (post something on the page)

I am targeting a team and yes I am advertising my fanpage... the cpc is .01 but with 1000+ users only 97 have click on my offer and only 23 of them have converted into a lead so I have recouped half my advertising cost...

you would think that when you have sweet CTR .4+ CPC .01 and 93 dollars and 4500 fans later I would be making good profits...but nope...FML

I'm no expert in fan page marketing, but I'm guessing its pretty similar to email marketing and list building. From what I see your saying you got 4500 fans for $93? thats a pretty damn good deal. As long as you aren't spamming your fan page making people want to get off it (don't know how fan pages work these days, if people see every post you make or what), But I would keep building that fan list and get as many people signed up. Get 10-20k people and then start hitting them with offers.

Like with email list building most people don't break even when they start building the list. The profits don't really come till after you've built the list and started hitting people with offers. If you're good then you can maintain those high numbers for a long time and continue to profit off the list you built down the road. I don't know if this is how it is for fan pages, but with that low of a cost I would probably keep building up fans. Especially if they are targeted opt-ins. Hell if you build it high enough you could probably flip it and sell it to someone.

I actually have an offer when you like my fan page and factoring the lead off of that I have only spent $25 dollars and I have 6500 fans as of right now! ! ! I'm new to utilizing fan pages but that was my thought wait until i get the 10-20 then drop some offers every now and then and see where it takes me....never thought about selling my fans.

Thanks for the tip.

So, I just about have 10,000 fans on my facebook page (ended up making $2 to get them). I tweeked my lander and had some improvement on leads but still not enough to make it a worthwhile campaign thus far, but I am going to make a drop, anyone using fan pages have suggestion on how you would drop offers? ? ? ? would you make an announcement saying you are going to do so?

Or would you say something like, hey came a cross a great website that you guys might like.

Or would you jsut drop the link and see what happens?

tits for tips

Nobody knows what kind of fan page you have so the help you get is going to be hit or miss without more details.

Id say figure out what your demograph is and offer products that are as close as possible to what your fan page represents.

sports team mix between ages and sex. I just hope they respond better to the drops than the call to action I am using to get them to like the page

It is interesting to see whether you monetize fan page, I know the fans in general are not active. Also how could you get fan's emails? Or you ve got it after they have got the site?
