Conversion pixel intermittent?

Hello. This is my first post on WickedFire, and I hope I am not troubling anyone by asking this:

I have a site on which I have placed a HasOffers tracking pixel, but I am having trouble determining why it is only working intermittently. When testing the pixel, it accurately tracks our conversions, but we are not seeing the same results when our customers are purchasing our product - it only tracks some of the time.

I realize I have not provided a lot of information here. I am new to this, and I am simply wondering if anyone has any tips, or knows of any common mistakes made with conversion pixels that might lead to this kind of behavior.

Although this helped, my issue hasn't completely been solved yet. From what I can tell, Internet Explorer conversions are the problem. Based on the number of visitors coming in through IE, we should be tracking more conversions than we currently are. The problem is especially prevalent with IE8, which seems to be tracking successfully less than 75% of the time, given the usage statistics.

Is anybody aware of any issues with IE, specifically, which could cause pixels to fail intermittently?

Curious ... Have you (in IE) performed a few test conversions on different machines with cleared cache and cookies, and used charles or fiddler to see what fires.
