If two people are running the same offer on the same network, and someone clicks on one of the affiliates ads, and then 3 days later (without clearing their cookies), clicks on the second affiliates ad, who gets the sale?
 


I guess it all depends on the system. But with the field that I'm in, we collect emails and whoever's page gets that email is forever cookied.

Basically, first come, first serve. But it all depends, so check with whoever you're working with.
 
It has to based on the affiliate id is belongs to who.

It should be the last guy who sent the surfer. Otherwise people who cookie stuff can make a mint with that program.
 
what if the surfer blocks cookies on his browser - then nobody gets the credit!
You can't do shit online without cookies. Try logging in to anything - won't work! Very few people block advertising cookies w/3rd party programs. At least not enough to make a huge difference.
