Copeac if pissing me the FU*$ OFF!!!

Okay, so here is the deal. For about a month I've been pushing a lot of traffic to Copeac. I've been generating several thousands of dollars worth of leads for them.

After the first 2 week I asked to be put on wires, and the said It wouldn't happen that week because it was already Monday and wires went out on Wednesdays. They said they would make sure I was setup for wires for the following Wednesday.

So, a week rolls around and it's Wednesday(last week) and they owe me around $21,000. My affiliate manager tells me that they weren't able to get my bank information to accounting or some shit like that, so I wasn't going to get paid again. This is bullshit when they had over a week to set it up. So I tell my affiliate manager to make sure I'm on wires for this Wednesday. I'm needing to get paid because I've been dumping all of my money into advertising.

So, today I ask my affiliate manager if I'm going to be wired tomorrow. He tells me that since it was a short week last week they weren't able to get me in.

This is fucking bullshit. They have had 3 weeks to put me on wires, and they still haven't. They keep giving me bullshit excuses. THEY NOW OWE ME OVER $27,000.

I've dumped all of my money into advertising because they promise me that they will get me on wires.

Now I can't even pay my own bills because of them.

I really hope someone from copeac will come respond to this and stop making excuses and straighten this out right away.

True the AM should have been a little more on target with dates/expectations.

BUT..

This is a business dude, you have to have cash reserves. You put all your eggs in one basket and how suffer. This is not C0peac's fault. Yours alone.

So your telling me that it's okay for my affiliate manager to tell me that I'm setup on wires, but I'm really not? He tells me this so I dump my money into advertising because he tells me i'm going to get paid in a week.

Boo fucking hoo. HEY, guess what, I had a TERRIBLE quarter, yet I still have my bills paid, my ScarySEO and ASW trips prepaid (and a healthy budget for fun!) and I'll drop a few bucks in Jan for a trip to Cancun.

It's called being a good businessman. It's called not biting off more than you can chew.

This is entrepreneur 101 stuff.

Are you fucking serious? How the fuck is it his fault? I don't even have a clue who this guy is and I like Mike but seriously, how is this at all his fault? This is hardly a case of putting your fucking eggs in a basket analogy.

Wow, you are retarded. You think it's my fault that a company makes promises to pay me on a certain date and they don't. Your implying that I'm not being a good businessman? I think it's the other way around, copeac is not being a good businessman/business. This shit you say makes no sense at all, and is irrelevant to what my situation is.

Your just a dick that has to be negative about every single persons post on this forum.

How is it not? He has no cash, his cash is committed to campaigns, his commissions are not in the bank.

It's exactly all eggs in one basket. Not Copeacs fault he's broke, period.

Had he not been dead broke, he wouldn't have posted the complaint against Copeac.

Copeac is a great business. Your situation is you're broke, you overextended yourself. That's not Copeac's fault, it's yours. Next time, don't overspend on your campaigns.
 
It looks like Mike is taking care of this for me and I should get paid tomorrow for the weekly wires.

I'll update everyone here tomorrow on if it's a success.

I am sure many people reading this can attest that if you have an issue that can be resolved contacting me first is your best bet.

Its not really his fault. A lot of guys in the industry invest and then reinvest almost all of their cash reserves back into higher budget spends. Its not uncommon at all for affiliates to go this route. Hell, even I do it fairly often if the traffic and conversions are really solid. I did it just last month, and if I weren't paid on time when promised I would have been pissed to hell, so you can't blame the guy for being upset about that. I'm sure you would have acted out the same route had it been you. But alas, you're also right in that its not exactly wise to reinvest the entire amount in your stack right back into a campaign without keeping SOME reserves available to hold you over.

Either way, he's not bashing them, he just wants to get his monies, and Krongel chimed in pretty quickly so you can bet your ass its being taken care of. Done deal, end of story.
 
Forgot to mention, there is a Copeac dedicated forum section too, so its better to use that venue than the open forums which can just cause stress and drama and not answers or solutions. Its there for support for the most part, so use it. Just click the Affiliate Programs tab at the top of the page, and click their link. Simple as that.
 
Exactly, thanks Jon. I was just frustrated. I know copeac is a good company, I wouldn't continue sending traffic to them if I didn't think so. I'll continue to work with them and send traffic to them for a long time I'm sure.
 
@bb_wolfe You're wrong on this one. It's not his fault at all. There is a person in affiliate marketing that hasn't overextended themselves at some point or another. Shit I know marketers and networks that have more capital than any of us and they are overextending themselves right now due to the insane acai volume and profit that goes with it. He's hardly a bad businessman for that. He's only wrong for putting this on a public forum before exhausting other methods of trying to resolve the issue.

As far as the actual issue Mike is on top of this forum and always has been so when your doing his job and you have these issues it's easy to find him as he said. Sounds like he's already taking care of it for you actually.

Shit mk, I don't know if I would have said that.

A whiny affiliate vents on a public forum and the owner of the fucking company comes by in ONLY 9 MINUTES to save the day. I can't think of much better advertising than what just happened.

It's enough to make me consider moving some traffic from neverblu3 over to cop3ac
