What I do suggest doing next time, is that instead of referring to pay dates, as next Wednesday, or next Thursday, use the numerical date; as in 12/03. Would put everyone on the same page then.

Mike K. means what he says, and does what he says he will do - you can trust him to get things straightened out. Catch up with him directly before venting on a forum.

bb_wolfe is a retard, again.

+1 for contacting Mike Krongel. he has taken care of any issue i've ever had when my AM was giving me any trouble.

UPDATE:

Mike went out of his way and made sure I was wired. I just got the wire this morning, so all is cool now.

glad i can help.

Please dont contact me asking for faster payments if your AM said no. This isnt if mommy says no let me ask Daddy.

As of 2-3 weeks ago we werent adding anyone new to faster payments, why you ask? We dont have to, weekly payments is an aggressive tactic by networks who are trying to grow business. We are capped out, we cant grow. Hence no faster payments

Once we get more budgets we will open it up more and put those on weekly who are running with us under less favorable terms

This guys is the effect of the economy on AM, you have more supply, the advertisers less demand. Basic Economics. Ad inventory should be very cheap, pay a bit more for terms from your suppliers or just ask, not like the big brands are buying ad space anymore.

pick up the telephone

why don't affiliates do this?

if you're serious about this game you should be on the phone with your AMs at least twice a week. if you don't get the right answer from your AM, go up the line.. ask his/her manager whats up and then go up from there if you still don't have an adequate answer.

BBwolfe, Blanko05, I would say you guys are both correct. It just depends on the way you do business. If you want to play it safe, BB is right, you need to manage your money, be careful not to overextend yourself. But if you want to really push and aim for higher and higher profits...I don't see anything wrong with overextending yourself. It's a risk, yes...but a calculated risk. Many successful businesses take the same risk. It also seems to have paid off for Blank since Copeac is now addressing the problem. Just because Blank took a risk, doesn't mean he has to sit there and take it up the ass quietly. He has the right to vent on WF... :) BB, its wrong to say he's not a good businessman...he just runs his business differently than yourself. I think you guys can both learn a little from each other ....
