Ok so not to sure what the best way to go about this. Lets just say for the sake of argument that SWIM stumbled upon a site for some reason owned by a person that SWIM vehemently despises and decided that they would like to mess with the site owner a bit for fun.

Here is the problem when SWIM visited the site he wasn't thinking about fun & games its more a case of chance after several years of no contact. So when SWIM visited the site he visited naked. Now the site owner deff has Analytics on his site and 1 look at the map and he will know instantly who is fucking with him. SWIM needs to be a bit more discreet than that and really doesn't want to wait a month for it to fall off. So maybe some additional traffic is in store. Maybe some traffic from all over this particular state as well as a few other key states. I have a couple ideas to help my "friend" out but was curious what the dubious minds at WF might have. Not looking to spam the site (just yet) just to fuck up the GA map. Any thoughts?

Riiiiight... because I love to "mess with" people I "vehemently despise" for a little bit of fun.

So you snooped around someone's site, probably posted some lame shit, now you're scared you're gonna get caught.

Nope didnt post anything. no reason to be scarred SWIM has much more sinister plans for the site. Its not about what has been done to the site its more about whats about to become of the network of sites

all that looking to do at this point is to just blend in that 1 hit that is certain to be noticed on the Analytics map

This all sounds like a stupid idea, why not just do some work on your own network. But if you want more hits from ips in your state go wardriving and hit up his site from the hacked connections.

It is a stupid idea and certainly not something one should take lightly (which is why SWIM waited 2 years patiently). however the person in question is a abusive piece of trash and deserves whatever happens.

ps thanks for the tip will deff pass that info on (and no its not my daddy after he beat me for downloading japanesse games on the internet 5 years ago)

It's just javascript, so you can take this bit:
Code:
  _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-123456-1']);
And replace it with:
Code:
var foo="UA"+"-"+"123"+"456"+"-1";
 _gaq.push(['_setAccount', foo]);
That's enough to keep it from being found by those sites that scrape analytics id's. Or, you can mask it more heavily:
Code:
var foo="\x55\x41\x2D\x31\x32\x33\x34\x35\x36\x2D\x31";
_gaq.push(['_setAccount', foo]);

Of course, neither of these helps if the person already knows of a website, and wants to run the javascript to see the plaintext "UA-XXX" number. It does help the plaintext from getting indexed though.

Same trick works for AdSense publisher id's as well.

^^^
thanks but not quite what I was looking to do. Thinking maybe just redirecting the traffic from a couple of throw away sites for a few days and put ubot to work for a while

Craigslist gig "Make my site look just like derps site $2.00" Link to a page that has the same ad copy with the addition of derp's url.
You may be concerned with derp derping out the craigslist ad, but you can get around that Im sure.

Anyway depending your location derp should see some good traffic from your area mixed in with a general rise from all the other craigslist beggers.
You could throw in a 2x meta refresh but I doubt that this is really needed.
Now if you live in fucking east timor or somewhere, I doubt this is going to hide you very well.
