I heard the donkey show is actually fake. It's code to tell the driver your a dipshit tourist, they then take you down town and drop you off in a neighborhood where you get robbed and they get their cut. At least that's what the mexicans told me.
They actually do donkey shows in mexico, I researched it before I went, Google "Boys town Mexico"
Yeah, the donkey shows are real. I used to dispatch trucks after I stopped driving myself, and there were a lot of drivers that would cross the border when they were in Laredo just to get some lovin' and see the show.
One guy described it as "this chick sucking off a donkey and it blew a gallon of jizz all over here, she choked and almost puked"
Doesn't sound like any show I want to see, but those drivers thought it was great. There's some weird shit in this world.
One driver figured up his hooker bills for the year and he claimed to have spent over $7000 on whores! Most of his were down in Boys Town at $75 per night! Can't imagine the diseases that dude carried around.
