I'm preparing for my backpacking trip this summer and would like to use some credit card introductory offers and what not to save on flights.

Does anyone here have any recommendations and/or resources I should look at?

I have good credit so I should be approved for most things.

If only there was a forum where thousands of ballin internet trillionaires had created threads with all of the information you seek.

Frugaltravelguy is decent too. Chase probably has the biggest offers and some of their cards like ink or sapphire preferred give decent flexibility to claim with various airlines.

I forgot where I read this, but I heard you can apply for 15 credit cards with introductory bonuses (e.g. they give you $400 after spending $2K in 3 months), take advantage of their introductory bonuses and then cancel all the cards, taking only a 2% - 4% hit on your credit score. Anyone ever try something like this?

Yeah, they call it churning and burning. If you do it smartly, it will have minimum effect on your credit score. Not 15 at a time though lol. I do like 3 at a time and meet the $2k/3 months $1k/3 months. You can set yourself up with free rooms and airfare for a long time.

Lol, I doubt you would ever have a credit card in your life again
