Any credit cards you guys recommend for putting all my paid advertising accounts on (including clients)? There was a travelling thread awhile ago for benefits (like flight points), but I'm no traveler. Would be interested in any other rewards though.

Figured a lot of people here are interested in this stuff too.

I think the Capital One card is your best bet if you want cash. Not sure they still offer the 2% back but you can easily get 1.5%

I use Amex Platinum for travel partners and Plum for cash back. The cool thing about Amex charge cards are they are typically pretty generous with their spend limits, so it makes it easier to manage.

A lot of those reward cards will kick you back something other than flights.

Cash back, gift cards, experiences, appliances, etc.

I try not to get hung up on what card has what this month and I stick to mainly my Sapphire and Amex cards. However, I travel a bit more and my choice was influence by that. I do sometimes exchange in points for Home Depot gift cards and get stuff for the house though at times.

Spark Cash From Capital One is unlimited 2% cash back w/ first year no fee then $59/yr or 1.5% unlimited cash back with no fee.

Spark Cash for Business | Capital One

Exactly the card I was talking about - only 2% unlimited card on the market.

It is true that Cap One is harder to get the same level of spend through vs Amex but it's probably good for most people.

Here are 2 ways you can spend more on Cap One easier.

1. Max the limited with a change and then when the balance shows up the next day pay it. Right after you pay it call them up to push the payment through faster, they will call the bank you are paying it from to confirm you have the funds and credit the payment instantly. This lets you spend your full credit limit every business day pretty much.

2. Send them a check in the mail for much more then you owe. They still won't approve a single charge higher then your CL but it can help a ton if you have plenty of cash and just want the 2% CB.

All these options are great thanks.

I didn't know Amex had that many options to trade the rewards for gift cards, which might be cool.

I'll update with what I get and or if I find anything better. Capitol One is looking like a good option.

I use my Amex for the travel stuff and my Sapphire for the gift cards.

chase freedom starts you off with 200 and then 5% back on certain categories with no fee. Not a bad card
