a friend of mine did the same thing with his credit card. over 6 or 7 years he got it ranking high for just about every credit keyword there is, built it to $10k a month, then quit his job, built it to $30k + a month and then it was acquired for millions.

I sold one financial related website for $XX,XXX in march this year to a big corporation. Right now I don't know if you could have received the same amount for it.. so I guess it was a good move to sell :D

I have been studying how this guy bought all the links for credit card guide.com

I am carrying out a case study of how he bought links, and even got links from the wall street journal. Some pretty good Shit if you ask me...

Also i am sure this is old news but bankaholic.com was acquired for more than 15million bucks. Financial keywords which pay for more than 50 bucks per click. Again, i will research all the damn keywords and have them on here. :)

Yeah i know i am bumping this thread, but in these times of "turmoil" it wouldnt hurt to read nothing but positive news about acquisitions of mega affiliates and which is sure to provide some fire for any marketer out there.
