As one of the main networks promoting this offer as well as others, I couldn't stay out of the conversation. Continuity programs work well for us but have a higher level of customer service issues in general. I find these nutricuticals to be less shady than ringtones for example (which I see marketed primarily to kids).
The fact is that Crush handles their customer service about on par or better than most of the industry. We looked at the various companies out there before we started picking and choosing which companies we started to do business with. They were one of the few companies that showed they were able to handle volume.
The main reason things are worse than normal is simple. WE ARE BLOWING THEM UP WITH VOLUME BECAUSE THE OFFER WORKS SO WELL. My understanding is that they are handling over 10k calls a day which is up by at least 20X from before. The success of the offer caught everyone by surprise, but at this point should we go out of our way to create caps for you guys? No one wants to see that. I'll wait for the advertisers to make that call.
Problems from:
1) More complaints in total even if the percentage is the same (Remember we are dealing with at least 20X the volume)
2) Scaling issues from increased volume: Customer service, shipping the product, having the product on hand etc.
3) Been around the longest so you will hear more about their issues just from the age of the offer.
As for the other offers, give me a break. They have the same problems or worse but they are dealing with less volume and newer offers, and therefore smaller problems overall. They will be just as bad once they scale and get older if not worse. The fact is notice none of the companies proudly provide their contact information in their DNS registration info. Wouldn't that be an easy way for consumers to contact them? Continuity programs by their very nature cause a higher level of customer service issues. Compare the number and nature of complaints against Acai Power 500 and factor in the age of the offer and the volumes being done and you can see what I mean.
Vital Acai: Barely any volume so far and new offer so no time for complaints to come in. These guys seem good but haven't really ever done any volume on any offers so it is hard to say how bad their problems are. There are a few complaints around about their previously biggest product (green tea one) but they have never handled anywhere close to the volumes we are talking about.
Naturally Made Acai: New product but who wants to deal with Clickbooth? If I remember correctly the company behind this, they have loads of complaints. They are about on par with Crush or a little worse in terms of scaling issues. Here is link to one of their older products.

ColonMed 700: The company behind this was started by former hydra AM. There is no way you are getting in touch with anyone in this company for customer service. We sent someone to their office and they denied that they were even the company. Basically all their products have tons of complaints. Here is the link to their old colon product but if you can keep them straight, every product has lots of complaints. THEY ARE WAY WORSE THAN CRUSH and I can't seem to find another person in that company past the former Hydra AM.

Acai Berry Supreme: I would put them on par with Crush and we do business with them as well. Lets not fool ourselves as to why caps were placed on this product (it isn't to hire more customer service people). The fact is that their websites couldn't handle the volumes had more to do with limiting traffic than anything else. More traffic didn't result in more sales for them since their websites started to time out. The other main reason was that they didn't have enough product on hand. But here are the complaints there:

Wu-Yi: These guys are worse than Crush in terms of customer service but still an okay company. They have been around a while and you will find lots of complaints about them.

We studied this space before getting into it and Crush is one of the better companies out there in terms of handling volume and the problems around it. In case you aren't convinced that volume and age of offer is what causes this stuff for continuity programs Do this search:

That is Experian's company and on a continuity program.
Unless this board is filled with suddenly very skinny girls, let's not get too self righteous. Not to say there are not total scammers out there, but Crush isn't one of them. They got growing pains like the rest except they were already one of the biggest in the space. So you can imagine the additional volume we threw at them.
I'm going to worry about my business which is finding the best offers and getting the best deal for you guys. Making sure I get paid so you guys can get paid.
