I have not ever bothered looking at a set system or logic to anything, I read things, I try things and then I work things out the way I think they should be done and so far its been a long hard road, but Im also getting payed so no complaints really.
So last week I found a free ebook online and started reading it, it seems very god so far, of course anything free has some BS attached to it and allot of the content is a no brainer, but one thing that Ive really never followed is a system, I plan things out of course, but rarely do I sit down and say ok, this that then the other thing.
The book goes into detail about a system called CTRP (Content Traffic PreSell and then Monetize). Which I am going to try to implement on a project that im working on rite now. It seems very logical, just never thought about it much and in a way I do it now, just not always in that order. Will keep everyone posted, though it may take some time..
Another thing Ive never really paid much attention to because im always busy trying to sell, is PreSelling... The site which I am working on will have no sales pitches, just good content that will focus on directing and refer traffic to the affiliate who will do the selling, im interested to see how things work out....
So this thread is basically just a dump for some thoughts that Ive had and things that have been introduced to me in the last week or so, id be interested to here your thoughts on the process above or what you think about preselling as apposed to selling... when I talk about this I am doing so with with SEO'ed affiliate sites in mind....
