I've been dragging feet on getting a review going, but I finally have some ideas to use this service.

Dropped AngryCat a message with what what I want out of WordPress integration. It's very simple - After I post a link, Xrumer the link directly using anchors I specify in a field (I'd mix in the target anchors, the URL, and some generic stuff).

Even cooler is if it could schedule a velocity campaign...

ie, day 0 I post a URL on a WP site
day 1 - 50 links
day 2 - 200 links
day 3 - 500 links
day 4 - 200 l inks
day 5 - 100 links
day 6 - 50 links
day 7+ add this URL into this site's general campaign that is regularly scheduled when I have nothing else in there... this might be asking much.

This would be kinda natural if you look at old digg effect. I'm not gonna drop BOMBS on my money URLs but I'd like to try this.

Now that would rock, but that's a bit complex.

After a few more days of running BackBlast it has become a nice and comfortable addition to my link building. Every run has produced many extra links created by a set it and forget scheduler. The report for the same day is waiting on me by the time I wake up ready to be fed into the next step. I have started to see positive serp movement in a couple of areas of isolated projects that can only be attributed to BackBlast.

Congrats @angrycat, nice piece of work. If this continues will be upgrading to the 2k / day package soon.

I got a free review copy and boy am I happy I got it. I'll now be paying for a 2000/day package.

The Important Part; the places the Links are placed
I really liked the sites used to blast. Really liked 'em. This guy isn't just buying lists, he is obviously actively scrapping, which is really nice.

Interface:
Awesome interface, and I love the way the scheduling works. I'd rather blasts my projects the least bit per day but keep it consistent. This is really awesome.

The stickiness-Accuracy
Much time hasn't passed, but so far, I'm very impressed. These links are having a high stick rate, and I get anchors on a lot of them, though not all (which to me is understandable)

Price:
Really awesome.

I'm glad to have blackblasts in my link building arsenal, and I would be bummed if my competitors found them. That, I think says it all.

Backblasts is bloody awesome. Very simple interface and easy to use.

Right now i'm backlinking my web 2.0s to 2 websites.

BTW, how often do reports get updated? I just signed up today and my jobs got completed, but i dont see any reports.

Quality: 5/5

These are Xrumer links, plain and simple. In my opinion there's no such thing as "quality" Xrumer links (whether from DFB or Backblasts or whatever). I know there are tons of others who say otherwise, but by and large I look at these kinds of links as just a great way to make sure my second tier properties get indexed/crawled and to pass on a bit of link juice. People who argue DFB as "premium" service over this one, I can't really comment on--but I personally disagree just based on my own experience.

Thanks for the detailed feedback, really appreciate it!

Regards your comment above, yup these are Xr profiles and there is no such thing as a "good quality" profile, some are better than others, but you are talking "cream of the crap", not "good quality links".

This service is about volume and flexibility as opposed ot "quality".

Thanks for the feeback, this feature is tricky to fit around our process of allowing multiple jobs or "blasts" per day, but we have figured out a way that something like this could be implemented, we'll stick it on the todo list but it will take some time to implement, its not a quick job Im afraid.

Indeed, we have two servers for this, one to scrape and the other to test the urls... its not quite set up how we want yet, but its getting there! These are in addition to the servers used to post clients links... they are just to build and refine lists :p

Thanks, they reports are normally visible within a couple of hours of completion, but in some cases it can take up to 12.

We are in the process of changing this process to clear out the junk form the reports and reduce the waiting time for the reports. By clear the junk, we over deliver on our quotas to compensate for missing / incorrect links. We are working hard on a solution that will show ONLY valid links, hopefully that will be in today... its being tested / refined at the moment.

Hey guys,

Angrycat had offered me 15 days free trial of 500 links per day. Before I go on with the product review, I must say that he is a great guy to deal with. He's quick to respond to your questions and is very professional.

Now for the product.

Backblast is an amazing option if you have been buying forum profile links to boost your rankings. Since we need good amount of link diversity, this seems to be the most cheapest way if you have a large site or site which is targeting multiple keywords. If you have a micro niche site, this may not be the best option unless you have multiple micro niche site.

The campaigns are easy to set up. In the basic campaign, there's hardly anything that you need to do. Just dump in the url's/keywords you are all set to go. Scheduling is pretty straight forward too.

What I liked the most is the ability to map keywords to each of the url's or map it to url's which have a common keyword. Step by step video is available on the site which is quite useful if you get confused.

The only feature request for this tool would be a better reporting system. When you have multiple campaigns running, the reports section can become a bit messy and difficult to locate the reports. It would be great if there was a filtering option available.

Now for the quality of links.

These are forum profile links and they include a mix of Non EN and EN forums. Some of the forums have been spammed to death and I'm really doubtful that the profile links from these would ever get indexed. Also, few of the non EN forums seem to have adult content. Personally, I do not prefer too many non EN forum and links from adult sites. This is something that can be improved on.

So do that mean it's useless links? Well, there are no links which are useless. If you have a good strategy for linking, this tool helps you automate your linking without having to check every single day. Also, this is very cost effective (I've ordered forum profile links from sellers and I do feel that these were of similar standard).

I experimented on some of the keywords and here's the scrn shot of it.

Before beginning the campaigns

Post campaigns
rlgxbvpg

The campaigns ended as on 4th and it'll take a few more days for the rankings to move. Will update in couple of weeks time if there is any movement in rankings.

I do recommend this for mainly 2nd tier linking effort along with your other linking strategies. Trying to rank just by forum profile links will be a bit ambitious but that shouldnt stop you from using this tool.

Thanks,
CN

crap...the image link does not seem to be working. Not sure if this is the issue with WF or with the image link. Will try in a while...

Just ordered a 2k/day subscription. Had the entire 2k links/day scheduled out in about 30 minutes. Set them up for 8 projects. Links on auto pilot to some web 2.0 and other high PR profiles is always a good thing!

Quick review:
One suggestion will be a mail feature,That is, a mail will be sent whenever report available for the day will be a nice addition.
Still in testing report back later after complete test.

We added this feature a while back but it was not very reliable.
We just changed it so it should work better now.
We also added the option of making mails look like they were sent from YOU (not us) so you can auto mail reports to clients if you need to.

We added that feature too, you can filter by date, project and download a zip file of your reports (in addition to having them mailed to you or clients as previously mentioned)

I just wanted to say that this is a great service.

First, I really appreciate the availability of different size packages. Still being somewhat new to IM, I don't need 1000 links a day, so I signed up for the small package right now. However I see myself upgrading in the coming months as I add new sites.

Second, the interface is great. It's very easy to understand. The ability to add multiple sites and keywords and keep track of what you are doing, as well as the advance scheduling is really nice. There are also some good tutorials.

It's an awesome service in terms of its value. I see myself being a customer for a long time.
