I have been doing PPC on yahoo search marketing for 4 months so far. All my bid's have been .10->.20. On average I spend 25->50 bucks a day in clicks, and my gross is between 100 and 200. Is upping my bid going to help make more money? I don't what to up it and lose a lot of money. What do most people set their bids at? I have read that people spend over 8G's a day. Thats a crazy amount of money for me. Any suggestions appreciated. Thank you.

If you can afford it without cashflow problems, scale up. More keywords, more campaigns, etc. I wish I had a crazy high 400% ROI like you.

If you're getting that good of ROI, why not?

Have you already experimented with new keywords etc. with that bid?

Yes I have experimented with new keywords..Should I just up it to .30 and keep upping it to see what works best? What do you guys usually pay per click?

each niche and product is different. there's no right answer to "what is everyone else paying?" some are paying pay $3+ a click and making 100% ROI with offers that pay very high, and some are paying .10.

anyway, instead of wasting ur time asking, why not just TRY IT! you get no where in AM asking questions and never experimenting.

bro im gonna slap you if you don't raise your budget. Your obviously going to be making more if you spend more. You spend $50 and make $200.. the next day spend the $200 and see what happens, don't be a cheap ass.. take chances.. and tell me what your advertising :P

In my rough estimation, if you're getting better than a 2:1 return (ie. $2 commission for every $1 spent) you're not spending enough.

If you've got a winning campaign on Yahoo, there's no reason not to be trying it out on
Adwords and MSN also.

It sounds to me like you've got plenty of room to experiment with other search engines and higher bids. If things don't work out, you can always back off.

Thanks for the info guys. Usually by this time today I only have 50-80 bucks, and less than 100 clicks. But now I have 300 clicks and over 150. =] Upping the bid worked out better than I thought it would. Soon starting on other networks....
