when are people most interested in dating offers? I figure during the holiday seasons, or is it after the new years? Any input is appreciated.

On the contrary, people getting together with family = hanging out with people you wouldn't normally hang out with if you weren't family (example: my douche brother-in-law).

It makes people appreciate their single status and how much independence comes with it.

Wow. I didn't realize that dating was seasonal. Kind of hard to imagine that there are months where people are more apt to date. I would guess somewhere towards the summertime, though. There's more sunshine, more people have free time to date and do things they like.
