I had some fruit flies in the kitchen because the apples were left standing for 2 days.
I didn't know how to deal with the problem at first, but then I decided to try the vacuum cleaner.
I put a glass of orange juice on the counter to attract the flies.
Then I snuck up on them with a vacuum cleaner, I set it on high and stuck it inside the glass. 80% of the flies got instantly sucked in.
The remaining 20% died of hunger.
