Just visited the website. This is what it says

Too bad. I enjoyed testing music out there before I spent money on a CD.

Yeah there was a story on digg about it a few days ago... Not that it will make much difference. Less than two weeks after OiNK got shut down there was an almost exact replica started up. I'd bet it will be the same for demonoid.

Its that whole hydra theory... Cut off one head, and another springs up in its place.

Hopefully the music industry will realize that times change and they need to evolve. They can sue and shutdown as many people as they want, it barely makes a dent in the grand scheme of things. Anyone worth catching won't get caught anyway. They just need to literally reinvent the wheel and figure out a newer, cheaper way to pay for songs. /Dream
