DFB & Scrapebox a Facebook Fanpage??

:music07: Just wondering, anyone here ever blasted the crap out of a Facebook fanpage for SERPs? I am about to hit one that aint doing jack-squat anyway as it is, but would if it ranked. I'm gonna hit it with a steady stream of DFB and Scrapebox without any fear.

If I see some positive results I may add other link-types to it as well later on (SB's, 2.0's, etc...)

Keyword gets 30,000 exact Local(U.S.) , 40,500 broad Local.

Warn me now if you know better, cuz I'm goin' in.

Will update with results later, but let me know if you tried this or if you have suggestions...

No Problems.. Do it... I have found it easier to rank a Web 2.0 than a FB Page, but it is not impossible to rank a FB page. Pimp the About section with your keywords though, since there are few options for onpage SEO on FB...

Also don't forget to create a FBML to create a Great landing page with a HUGE "Call to Like"
Also its good to have the keyword on your Profile image as well. Bofu once mentioned that google seem to read the text on images, and since then, I have never stopped adding a small text in all my images... (No, i haven't verified the result )

You don't want to lose any traffic .

PS: I started doing on Twitter, not for ranking but for the PR... but since a few weeks, twitter stopped giving you a Profile URL..

ALl profiles now looks like http://twitter.com/#!/fuckyoutwitter

I had a PR 5 before that. but that #! now gives all profiles a Default PR9

Thanks for the suggestions, definitely will tweak the About/Info page for SEO and I just contacted a guy about hooking up the FBML for a great landing page design to encourage "likes", I paid for a bunch of likes 2 weeks ago but that really didn't spark anything. I was just testing that out too.

We'll see, I think it's goin to be tough to rank but I have nothing to lose and everything to learn on this one.

I'm squatting on a bunch of FB pages that are slowly generating organic likes from SEO.

For some reason, I can never rank them #1, no matter how many cheap links I throw at them, always hovering around #3-5.
