That thing is cool - but the hotwheels loop was/is one of the biggest scams in toy history. The thing never works. Probably once a year as a kid I'd fall for the cool commercial, only to be let down every time I tried it.

Just before the apex of the loop you couldn't let it get out of round. Had to be careful how those hard track joiner inserts were placed or it acted like an inverted ramp sending you to your death. I mean the car would crash in a fiery burning hell that would destroy entire universe's. I mean the car would run off the track, ahem.

Now an even better fathers day, my dad taught me that now that I think about it.
