Disabling WordPress Formatting?

Anyone know how to disable wordpress auto formatting of the content that is inputted?

Seems like every time I make adjustments to the coding side of wordpress while in the admin panel, the content would revamp itself to the previous format with annoying spacing that I wanted to get rid of....

My Profile > uncheck "Use the visual editor when writing."

there is aplugin that does it as well

Why bother with a plugin when you can simply ,

options > un-check "WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically"

and also...

users > your profile un-check "Use the visual editor when writing"

?

And if you do all that and STILL you get crap like the WYSIWYG editor, go rename the .JS folder that the editor is in. Or delete it. Just remember what you did when you upgrade!

exactlly that doesnt fix everything I still had problems but the plugin did!
