Does Any One Here Use Hostgator



Hostgator is ok for basic shared hosting, but search the forum for better vps recommendations (liquidweb, knownhost, webair)
 
Hostgator is the biggest hosting company in the world. They have a great support. You must work with them !
 
Nowadays Hostgator is awesome of their work. I also work with them. They have the Potentiality. You can use them.
 
I got a dedicated box at HostGator and I have no complaints. Their live support chat is A+. those guys always fix any problems I have.

Also JK what if this is an xrumer profile blast some marketing VP at HostGator does every few months to get traffic. Great strategy.
 
Every shared hosting company oversells.

But HostGator is the only one who openly admits it on their company blog and explains why they do so.

Been with em for 6+ years; very satisfied.
 
Actually I know the success of HostGator, which is bc they choosed worlds best data center "softlayer" US based . As their shared hosting is overloaded but much better then others... and dedicated are bought fm Softlayer so they are awsome :)
 
Their True 24/7 Live Chat is Most Convinient Service that they offer.
We've used them before and had no problems at all. They have decent servers.
 
yeah i have a few hosting accounts, shared ones for SEO. i would say hostgator are pretty decent, there live support is 24/7, there was 1 time when my website got hacked, it was just a static HTML page, like a sales page so there was no php CMS or anything, it got hacked and all they did was send me a link too there FAQ. i just have a few sites on there now that trickle in a little bit of cash every now and again and its paid for from hostgator affiliate program which is really good too.
 
Yes I've heard about hostgator from many people. I think it's really good. But I'm getting service from hostome.com, it's cheap and also quite reliable for me!

Live support is much better nowadays.
For VPS, managed service come only with certain control panels. So make sure to choose the right one depending on whether you are looking for managed or unmanaged service.

Highly recommend hostgator, heard nothing but good things and no complaints from me. You won't find much better for the price
 
There is also GoDaddy for domains. No matter what, if you put your information out there, it's not THAT hard to find. Just like doing a research paper.
