I have been do article marketing for the past 3 months with out any result. I take the time to have quality article submitted with the right keywords.

Or does article marketing takes time to mature.

The odds of you actually being named John Ben are about the same as those of me being the person pictured in my avatar.

Use the search function, this has already been discussed at great length.

OMG the thread that won't die actually reproduces itself.

And yes, article marketing works if you do it right.

From my stats, I do notice that article readers (who follow the link) tend to stay on my website longer than those from other traffic source. That said, I never get that much traffic per article - but the backlinks - mixed with other sources, help rankings. When other websites pick up my articles with links attacked, that also helps links get spread virally.

If you have really been submiting articles for 3 months with no luck, maybe your keywords are too competitive (for SE ranking) or your niche doesn't have that much traffic.

I'm sorry, but the fact that you posted here without even trying to search for previous incarnations of this thread, makes me wonder how much work you did in those three months.

I got some guys from the Philippines to create articles for me and I put them on the internet. Don't be surprised when they ask you where the cash at.

When you are making article marketing, the purpose is living anchor text with your keywords. And submitting to most popular article sites.

Article Marticle marketing isn't what it use to be in terms of article directories but you can get pretty quick results if you do it correctly. Also there are more ways to earn from article marketing than just submitting them to directories. You can sell them. Look at the posts in this thread. People buy them so if they are good you can do pretty well earning money that way.

As far as submitting them to directories that can get kind of tricky. First of all how many directories are you submitting them to. search engines tend to frown on multiple instances of the same article (Duplicate Content) and will wipe all of them out of the search results for this. its their way of penalizing you. Just choose a few of the top directories to submit to like Ezine articles, Go articles, Articles base. When making multiple submissions try to variate the titles and change the content some so that the search engines see different content.

Make sure that your keywords aren't too competitive but are popular enough to capture some traffic (things that people are searching for). Your keywords should always be in the title, in the first paragraph, an there should also be an instance of them around every 100 words or so throughout your article. Too little and the search engines won't notice and too much and you be penalized for spamming. The length of the average article should be around 400-600 words.

The title should grab attention by offering tips, steps, ways i.e. 7 ways to stop...... or 10 sure steps for........ or 5 basic tips to fulfill........ Got it?

The article itself should be very informative, possibly some humor, and whenever possible solve a problem. When ever you can anchor your keywords do it it gets the search engines attention. Don't anchor but once per keyword. If you use multiple keywords dont use more than three "relevant" keywords per article.

There are ways to get your articles on top search engine placements in just hours I'll explain that here tomorrow. It's pretty exciting stuff.

Hope this helps
