i'm just selling a dietary supplement. do i need a privacy policy/terms of service, or are these for companies that offer services bro?

what about terms of service?

is there are generic one i can use or am i really going to have to pay one to come up with something? we're not going to share our customer's contact information. end of story.

Search for a website with Adsense and look for their Privacy page (they are all supposed to have one) and tweak it for your site :-)

Look, I'm just another noob but......

If you collect personal information from your visitors, than a privacy policy may be something you would want to post.

If you provide a service, that a "terms of service" may be something you may want to post.

If you don't collect personal information or provide a service to your visitors, than neither would be necessary.

With that being said, In the 10 years I'm been making "terms of service" and "privacy policy" pages, I don't think a single visitor stayed on one of the pages long enough to read past the second paragraph. Probably the only visitors were there to scan the text to copy/paste to their website.

I believe the fact that you have a terms of service and privacy puts people at ease, regardless of what is included in it.

Then again, I'm just another noob.
