Does Wordpress lower Adsense ad value?

I have site that was a regular html/css site with some content and adsese ads.
After reading some threads, I decided to move that site into WordPress blog.
I noticed that after doing so, the adsense ads are not payout out as much as they used to (good 50% less).
I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

It shouldn't as far as I know. You sure you didn't just change up some of the options and/or the URI's? Maybe you took certain keywords out or the density was lowered.

good thing i didnt delete the old site, just moved it to a different dir. i went to the old site and the ads seem to be about the same as the ones on the new wordpress site.
