Hey peeps,

I've a flog that's just not converting. I suspect one of the reasons could be due to its URL. My URL has the word "recommendation" in it. I looked at my competitor's flog and they all seem to be using URLs that contain a pseudonym (e.g; jessica, amy, sally, etc.) followed by the word "blog". What do you think?

Thanks,
Jenna:frenchman:

Please post pics of your TITTAYZ with a spoon in between them then we may assist you with your inquiry.

Would you 'recommend' that one of the boyz man up & apologize or... would you rather 'review' their apologies ( even fake ones?? that only make you feel good about the product ) ??

I don't think the URL matters that much, but I'd surely be interested in your tits.

To answer her question though - hell yes url's matter. I've run split tests on a few campaigns and literally noticed 2 to 3% performance variations in the past. More than likely it matters more on certain styles of landers than others (ie. review pages.)

Anything with the enormous word "recommendation" is just not gonna work. I think people see large URLs and get turned off, we have a society that is used to small word/phrase .COMs and don't trust anything but.

URL is somewhat important ,but on page content will be #1 in terms of controling conversion.

Try adjusting text on page , colors , placement ,ect before you worry about URL.
