Hi,
I have question for SEO/keywords experts.

I found COM domain on sedo which have 1.800.000 exact search monthly according to google keywords, and about 1.000.000 google results for same term, also CPC is about $1.3. Serious competition are first 7-8 results on google 1st page, other are totally not relevant sites and pages to that keyword.

I was thinking that it could be nice job to buy it and optimize for some traffic which I will use to sell linkshare advertisers products/services in that niche. So please tell me according to those data how much you would pay for domain with those "specifications"?

How many advertisers does it have?

Often, Google will show a decent CPC, but in reality there are very, very few advertisers.

So...
How many advertisers?
How much does the domain cost?

What you describe sounds almost too good to be true. That's why I would really look into the number and kinds of advertisers that are active. If there is a product that is TM'd the quality of advertiser may be low.

This is interesting... update us if you can.

If you think about number of advertiser in google when I enter domain exact match there is full right and top advert sides of different advertisers in google search results.

Also, I checked within linkShare network since I signed for account there is few advertisers that offers really good amounts for CPA action that matches this product/service...

Domain is priced 2,500 buy now price,is it worth or not, that is main question actually... ?

If you know how to perform SEO or otherwise drive traffic - then the domain is a good buy, but I have a question...

The biggest thing I think you have found is a good niche. Why not buy an $8 domain name and spend $1000 to build out a website and promote it? I mean, you will still need to build the site even after buying the domain.

If this is an exact match domain you may have type in traffic, but I wouldn't count on it.

1.8 mil searches and only 1 mil competing pages?? That doesn't sound right. Is that exact match, broad match, or phrase match?

And whilst there's only 1mil competing pages, what's the competition like for the top ten results in google?

Are you up against it or should is it going to be easy to rank?

If you don't have much experience with this, PM me and I can help you work it out.

I already said exact match, 7-8 first results in google are strong other are irrelevant. question is should I buy for 2.500 or not? It is buy now price on sedo...

Well this is exactly why I need suggestion from more expirinced people in this field. I think it is good niche, with low competition and nice uncovered market, but I am not sure in that,so I am asking for suggestions, should buy or not...

Also when you say 'why not buy $8 domain...', I know something about SEO, and I know that exact match is not so valuable as few years ago, but still have value, especially exact match on COM domain with such search/competition,so should I buy or not, is exact match on such search traffic with such competition worth or not for this domain?

I could buy same NET domain since it is free, but would be better to invest work and funds in same COM domain be better solution, would somone who buy that COM from SEO, be in better position in 6 months for example?

you should take a look at the other sites on the first page, even if they are not relevant chances are most of them are using spam/blackhat methods to rank the site which would make it even tougher for you to rank actually..

I am a strong believer in .COM's for resale purposes. I have also bought and developed several domains that cost over $3,000. I did well on them and none of them have the numbers that you state for this domain. Since you have already considered the smaller impact EM domains have on the SERPs (still a slight boost)....

I would buy it.

signorm68 shared the domain with me. After further review....

Do NOT buy this domain. Monthly search volumes are actually less than 40.

For the benefit of everyone here,
1.8 million exact monthly searches = Monthly search volumes are actually less than 40 ???

How and why? What was the error?

The 1.8 million searches were --> Broad Matching Global

Exact match is less than 40.
This was a multiple word domain where broad matching triggered all kinds of searches... not relating to the keyword domain name.

As many of us suspected.... it was too good to be true. The OP didn't understand the technical difference between broad and exact matching.
