Domain Registrar Overseas?

Hi!

We need to find a domain registrar overseas to transfer some domains. My hubby is having a hard time finding one that looks legit - anyone know of a registrar outside of the US and Europe - maybe Asia - that is solid?

Gandi.net is in France. What exactly do you need a registrar overseas for? All registrars are bound by standard ICANN policies regarding UDRP/WIPO. Aside from GoDaddy, most US registrars won't act on spam/copyright issues.

Are you trying to hide from UDRP/WIPO or something? If so and you already received notice you wont be transferring anywhere.

If thats the case check out Dnforum's legal section for some advice.

I use resellerclub.com (part of Directi in India). You have to prefill your account with $250 but the prices are low (like $8.50 for a .com I think) and free WHOIS masking. Resellerclub also runs the backend for many registrars.

They also own Skenzo which is by far the largest and best domain parking company if you have tens of thousands of parked domains.

The 2 brothers that own the company are also nice guys and run a great business. They are well known among the domain community and speak at ICANN meetings, etc.
