Don't have a privacy policy page?

I found this the other day when I was trying to figure out how to set up a privacy policy page.

Until now I've just copied them from other sites and modified them to fit my sites

i've used them before - good site. then i take what i've created and just modify it as needed as opposed to regenerating each site.

On second thought, I will probably do the same.

Why? Once you've ripped off a policy once to use for yourself, just search and replace the website name, etc. with the new one for every new site you make. Takes me about 2 seconds using Ultraedit, versus several minutes going through that policy generator.

Also in dreamweaver under the Edit tab you have Find Replace, which will work in the document or a folder you specify, which saves a lot of time in some cases!

never tried ultraedit, will have to check it out

Yeah i hear ya. I just use notepad find/replace.
