Last Tuesday I woke up and one of my offers was gone. Now I've had this happen a few times and usually it doesn't bother me as most of my traffic is free however I was testing a offer with some PPC traffic that wasn't cheap and I woke up and I was paying 1.40$ per click that were going to a dead landing page. It pissed me off and there's a simple solution I was always just too lazy to do it. I put up a little tutorial and script that you can run on a cron to check that the offer is still up and if it's not it'll send you an email automatically.

Let me know what you think or what we could add to it. One idea I had was building some capability to see compare the old page to the new one and make sure their wasn't some changes while you weren't looking. Yes I've had this happen and couldn't figure out why conversions drop big time. Hope this helps some of you and saves you some money if something like this happens to you.

I've been thinking about making myself a personal control panel where I can manage all of my stuff, and this is a PERFECT addition to it. Thanks a lot - I'll let you know if I think of anything to add.

DirtyB I'd suggest running all your maintenance type scripts from one place. Like I have a vps and domain I run all my maintenance stuff from and keep it all together. so say you have a million sites and offers, you just keep track of what offers you're running in a text file and then it'll update you if they change, more advanced would be using a db
